Our Highland Oak collection is European rustic grade, Brushed and Oiled, to bring out the natural appearance of the Oak. Amplify your home styling with It’s deep grains, natural knotting and channelling, which are highlighted by the simplicity of oils, which also protect your floor from sun bleaching. The warm mid-tones brought out by the staining process and UV oil offer a comforting feel, providing a balanced colour to work with your other fittings and furnishings.

For ultimate practicality and longevity, this is a high quality 14mm product, 11mm engineered base, made up of layers of alternating ply, to give sound traffic resistance and minimal expansion/contraction versus solid wood; and a 3mm Oak veneer top layer, giving you years of stunning finish with excellent wear properties, for all areas of the home, including kitchens, but not recommended for bathrooms.

Highland oak comes in 1900mm traditional length planks, 190mm wide, which suits a classic brick-bond or boardwalk laying pattern.

A traditional look, complimenting interiors with classic, timeless styling, older properties, or where matching into a traditional or farmhouse furnished home.

Signature Collection floors are compatible with Underfloor Heating systems, and can be installed Floating or Fully Stuck.

Oiled Finish – We highly recommend this floor be buffed, and oil coated on a regular basis to ensure its longevity, approximately every 24 months, depending on overall usage, or more frequently for higher traffic areas.

Signature Collection Engineered Wood flooring is a carefully curated selection of premium oaks with characterful finishes and options for every home. Available in a range of sizes to suit any project, and a range of highest quality brushed, oiled or lacquered finishes.

We offer French and European sourced Oaks in a variety of brushed, oiled, lacquered and hand-scraped finishes, from light, white and lime washed, to deep, cosy and warming smoked finishes. All hand-finished and inspected to ensure quality; and graded by Rustic, Character or Prime grades, giving you plenty of choice with the finish you are looking for.

All planks are bevelled to some degree, matched to suit the grade of wood, giving clear definition of planks throughout your floor when installed. Installation is Tongue-and-Groove, with all planks interlocking, for a secure and level fit, whether fitted Floating or Fully Stuck.

For a traditional Oak look, choose Rustic grade, which gives you plenty of natural knotting, medium colour variation, sap marking and deeper grains, some with filler to improve the finishing process.

For something unique and balanced, try Character Grade, which gives neat grains with medium level knots, natural streaks and knot clusters, perfect for oiled and hand-scraped finishes.

If you’re into a smooth, lightly grained finish which carries a lighter colour, choose Prime Grade.

Our range compromises 3 formats: 1900mm Planks, 600mm Herringbones and shorter Parquet options, allowing you to choose the right look for your home, or mixing different formats across all your spaces – you’ll also find some colour matches between types.

Signature Collection floors can be installed either Floating, or Fully Stuck. We highly recommend installations be carried out by a qualified and experienced flooring installer, to ensure the right sundries are used.

Signature Collection floors can be installed over Under Floor Heating, but require and appropriate subfloor in order to do so – please check with your installer. Fully Stuck installations will require at minimum: Flooring Grade Plywood, or a liquid DPM, Primer and Latex Screed to give a flat surface on which to adhere. Floating floors will require a suitable underlay, as a moisture barrier and breathable route for air to pass, keeping the wood free of trapped moisture.

Why Engineered?

Engineered Wood is specifically designed to provide a strong, stable and long-lasting wood floor, with better resistance to expansion and contraction than solid wood. By utilising a multi-layered and structural plywood construction, greater strength and warping resistance is built-in, allowing the top veneer layer to do what it’s supposed to – look great.

Your engineered flooring is built up in many layers of alternating plywood, stacked and pressure glued in alternating grain build, for maximum strength. The top layer of Oak is then treated with the appropriate finishing tools, oils or lacquers to bring out the best of the grain.
